Do I need to bring anything?

It is recommended to bring a cooler, insulated bag or a laundry basket.  This will ensure your meals will maintain their quality and make it home safely. If you don't have one, any bag big enough to carry your dishes will be fine for a short drive or we carry cooler bags in-store for $5.00.


Is there a minimum number of entrées that need to be ordered for Sessions or To Go / Carry-Out?

No! If you just want to try us out, feel free to order just 1 entrée to come in and make for your Meal Prep Session or to purchase for To Go / Carry-Out!

Can I split my meals with a friend?

Yes! Friends and family members are welcome to complete a Meal Prep Session together and split the meals. Portioning our meals in two containers makes this easy to do with no additional work! Just let our staff know at the end of your Meal Prep Session how you would like us to separate and pack your items.


Can I bring my kids or my spouse to help?

Yes! Please, no children under the age of 6.


What if I want to try recipes before I commit to a Meal Prep Session?

You can always come in and grab any of our menu items already prepared by our chef To Go / Carry-Out. There is no minimum or maximum. Grab some sides and desserts while you’re here too!


Do I do any cooking or baking in the store?

At The Dinner Bell, you will be assembling your meals at our store to bake at home in the oven or cook on the stovetop/Crock-Pot at your convenience.


How is The Dinner Bell different from other companies I have seen advertised, like Blue Apron® or Hello Fresh®

Companies that deliver boxed groceries to your door are still a lot of work for you. You have to do the washing, the chopping, the prepping, and then clean up the mess. At the Dinner Bell, we do all of that for you. When you arrive, all of your ingredients are ready for you to use, and we clean up after you. It’s easy, quick, and hassle-free! When you leave one of our Sessions, you have meals to serve your family for days or weeks to come. And we are significantly less expensive!


How much are Meal Prep Session meals?

In Session: Each menu item costs the same amount. That way, you can choose what your family will love without having to worry about how much you are spending. If you are preparing 6 meals or more, each six-serving menu item is $23.99 (VOLUME DISCOUNT APPLIED). That breaks down to $3.99 PER SERVING. Remember, each meal will be portioned into two containers, so if you are serving 2-3 people rather than 6, you will leave with two meals for each menu item you prepare. If you are purchasing fewer than 6 meals, each six-serving entrée item is $26.99 ($4.49 PER SERVING). *We no longer have a minimum amount of entrées to book a Meal Prep Session*


Do you offer vegetarian options?

We do our best to accommodate everyone. We are committed to offering one or more vegetarian option each month, and several of our menu items can be modified to exclude the meat. However, we do not offer a complete vegetarian menu. Look for the “V” icon on the menu to know which items are vegetarian friendly.


Is your food healthy?

At The Dinner Bell, quality food is our focus. We believe in using locally sourced, clean ingredients wherever we can, which includes all-natural and non-gmo products.  We publish all of the nutritional information for each menu item, so you can make an informed decision about what to serve to your family.


Can I bring a bottle of wine?

We want you to feel at home when you're at The Dinner Bell.  No alcohol is sold in our store, but you are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or other adult beverage to enjoy while you prepare your meals. We have glassware and bottle openers on hand for your use.  We just ask that you drink responsibly. *State law prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from consuming alcohol. 


Is there a lot of waste?

No! Preparing your meals at The Dinner Bell produces less waste than buying all of your ingredients individually packaged at the grocery store. Plus, all of our packaging is either reusable or recyclable.


What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel your Session, please call or email us as early as possible, and we will work with you to reschedule.

What is your refund policy?

At The Dinner Bell, we are committed to providing delicious meals using the highest quality ingredients. If you are not completely satisfied with one of our items, please do not hesitate to let us know.  We will fully replace or refund your purchase!


How do I create an account on your website?

To create an account, all you need is an email address and a few spare moments to watch this "How To" YouTube video made by our very own office manager, Sara!

How do I order To Go or Carry Out on your website?

Just log into your account, hover over the "Order" tab at the top and select "Book To Go / Carry Out", then select the date and time you will pick your meals up. After that, you select which meals you would like and add them to your cart. When you're ready to go, hit "view cart" on the right side of the page, make sure you have selected to pick up at the store, choose which payment option you'd like, then (this is VERY important!) be sure to scroll down the page and click the SUBMIT button. If you are not directed to a page with a confirmation number, or if you do NOT get a confirmation email, then it is possible that we did NOT get your order.

How do I book a meal prep session at your store?
